66 - You were shown these things so that you would know that the Lord is God; there is NO OTHER BESIDES HIM!

Kathleen's thoughts

Deut 4: 40 Therefore you shall keep His statutes and His commandments, which I command you this day, that is may go well with you and your children after you and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God gives you forever.
This could not be clearer for us as it is written here today. Keep God's word in your heart and walk in them as it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your pathway.

Our guide lines given to us from God are the Ten commandments. 10 most basic ones but a very clear guide line for us to follow. Exodus 20 & Deut: 5: 6-20,22 The Lord spoke these commands in a loud voice to your entire assembly from the fire, cloud, and thick darkness on the mountian; He added nothing more. He wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me.

Deut: 6: 5-9 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with your entire being and with all your might...And these words which I am commanding you this day shall be in your own minds and hearts...You shall whet and sharpen them so as to make them penetrate, and teach and impress them diligently upon the hearts of your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up... And you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes...And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates...13 You shall fear the Lord your God and serve Him and swear by His name.

Deut 7: 1-11 9...Know recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God. the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations...And repays those who hate him to their face, by destroying them.

Blessings
Kathleen.
