Joshua 7,8,9
God gives Joshua instruction in his attack against Ai and through obedience Joshua conquers Ai.
Joshua builds a Altar at Mt Ebal according to what is written in the book of the law of Moses; an altar of uncut stones on which no iron tool has been used. Then Joshua copied the law of Moses, which he had written in the presence of the Israelites.. There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded that Joshua did not read before the entire assembly of Israel.
It's sad when people have to deceive others to gain what is not rightly theirs here you find that these people caused the Israelites and Joshua to believe them and God sure reveals lies in due season and this happened. One cannot hide from God or His people. A curse was put on the Gibeonites because you deceived us Therefore you are cursed and will always be slaves - woodcutters and water carriers for the house of my God.
Psalm 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou are the God of my slavation; on thee do I wait all the day.
