176 - Evil Kings.

Kathleen's thoughts

Amos 8: 1-3 Another vision
Amos 8: 4-14 Israel's doom.
Amos 9: 1-10 The Lord's judgement

2 Kings 14" 28-29 Jeroboam's death

Hosea 4: 1-11 The Lord's accusation. One of my favourite verses here is verse 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Then the other one is verse 11 Promiscuity, wine, and new wine take away one's understanding.

Hosea 4: 12-19 Pagan worship condemned.

2 Kings 15: 8-12 Zechariah Shallum son of Jabesh conspried against Zechariah. He struck him down publicly killed him and became king in his place.

2 Kings 15: 13-15 Shallum He did what was evil in the Lord's eyes.

2 Kings 15: 16-18 Menahem He reigned 10 years over Israel he did what was evil in the Lords eyes.

2 Kings 15: 19-20 Assyrian invasion

2 Chronicles 26: 16-18 Uzziah's intrusion. When he became strong he became arrogant and it led to his own destruction by going into the Lords temple to burn incense and the priests went in with him and told him he had no right to do what he was doing so...

2 Chronicles 26: 19-21 2 Kings 15:5 Uzziah's leprosy. The Lord afflicted Uzziah with a skin disease until the day of his death.

2 Kings 15: 21-22 Menahem's death. He rested with his fathers and his son became king over Israel

2 Kings 15: 23-24 Pekahiah son of Menahem He became king over Israel and reigned for 2 years during the fiftieth year of Judah's king Azariah.

Blessings
Kathleen.
