• Two kings conspire to wag war against Jerusalem. The Lord encourages the king that Israel will be broken. 
•  True worship. 
• Damascus is to be judged and Assyria defeats Syria. 
• The Lord warns Judah and invites them: Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.  If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;  But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it  Isaiah 1:18-20 

If you will not believe and trust and rely [on God and on the words of God’s prophet instead of Assyria], surely you will not be established nor will you remain. Isaiah 7:9
He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright [who prepares the way that I may show him], to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God. Psalm 50:23
