Kathleen's thoughts.
Exodus 28 - 31
The Exquisites’ of these garments that had to be made for the priesthood must have looked absolutely beautiful in thee day. Take for instance Aaron's ephod was entirely blue yarn and the pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn on its lower hem and all around it. then the gold bells between them all the way around the lower hem of the robe and this must be worn when Aaron ministers and the sound will be heard when he enters the sanctuary before the Lord.
The breast plate of pure gold and all those precious stones representing the 12 tribes of Israel.
God even thought of their undergarments and how they should be made. Exodus 28: 42 Make them linen undergarments to cover their naked bodies; they must extend from the waist to the thighs.
Exodus 29:29-30 The holy garments that belong to Aaron are to belong to his sons after him, so that they can be anointed and ordained in them...Any priest who is one of his sons and who succeeds him and enters the tent of meeting to minister in the sanctuary must wear them for seven days.
Exodus 31: 14 Observe the Sabbath, for it is holy to you.
In verse 18 of 31 When He finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, He gave him the two tablets of the testimony, stone tables inscribed by the finger of God.
To go back to Exodus 25 and the instructions of the Menorah as known to everybody as a candlestick holder. On listening to the Rabbi preaching on the Tabernacle I noted that he said it's not a candlestick holder but a oil lamp it does not hold candles. Exodus 27: 20 You are to command the Israelites to bring you pure oil from crushed olives for the light, in order to keep the lamp burning continually.
Blessings
Kathleen.
