Shofar for the Sabbath Yemenite Jew |
- Leviticus 18:3-4 You shall not do as was done in the land of Egypt in which you dwelt, nor shall you do as is done in the land of Canaan to which I am bringing you; neither shall you walk in their statutes. You shall do My ordinances and keep My statutes and walk in them. I am the Lord your God. This verse brought to mind one in the New Testament Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
- Leviticus 18:1-30 is all about who you may marry and who not to marry. It also details wrong s*xual practices which the Lord calls an abomination.
- Sabbath Leviticus 23:1-3

- The Feast of Weeks/Pentecost Leviticus 23:15-22

- The Day of Atonement Leviticus 23:26-32
- The Feast of Booths / Tabernacles Leviticus 18
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
